I wanted to be an artist since I was a kid.
I remember the day when I was sitting at the dinner table and telling my parents what I wanted to be when I grew up. But the moment I told them that I wanted to be an artist, it wasn’t the response that I was hoping for. My parents believed that art was a hobby and that there was no future in being an artist: “You cannot make a career as an artist. You need to think of something else.”
