I wanted to be an artist since I was a kid.
I remember the day when I was sitting at the dinner table and telling my parents what I wanted to be when I grew up. But the moment I told them that I wanted to be an artist, it wasn’t the response that I was hoping for. My parents believed that art was a hobby and that there was no future in being an artist: “You cannot make a career as an artist. You need to think of something else.”
I was crushed…but I didn’t give up!
I knew that there had to be a way where I can live my dream of being an artist and I wasn’t going to stop until I found it. After years of trial and error, rejections letters from galleries and spending money on products that never worked, I finally found someone who knew what I was going through.
I found Marie Forleo.
If you don’t know who she is, Marie Forleo is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker and the creator of an online business program called B-School. Four years ago, I took a leap of faith and applied for B-School without knowing if it would work. I now currently live in a beautiful neighborhood, traveled to so many amazing places, created some awesome artwork and actually made money doing what I love along the way!
So I couldn’t believe that I was given the opportunity to speak with the B-School family and talk about my journey! (click the image below):
I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for B-School.
Do you have a dream that you’ve always wanted to accomplish? Is there something that you wanted to do or be but don’t know where to begin? If you have a dream or you think you want to take a leap of faith, just like I did, you definitely should check this program out!
You deserve to live your dream!
You know me and I don’t really advertise anything unless it’s something that I truly believe in and that works – and this works!
Till next time love,
A few years ago I was in the desert somewhere in Arizona and decided to take a photograph of myself in a red dress.
I didn’t know where I was going with it but I needed to try something new and something that was outside of my comfort zone. Once I (more…)
