It’s December! Can you believe this? Only few weeks until the new year!

And of course this is the time of year where everyone reflects on what has happened in 2015. Since I have been MIA for the last couple of months I will try and fill you in on what I have been brewing up for 2016:

1. I’m getting married…soon to be a Mrs. 🙂

2. Developing new works

3. Haven’t had a closing show this year which is kind of a bummer but I’m hoping for more shows next year

4. Making health and fitness part of my daily routine

5. Trying to not give up on my work

I have noticed a few things this past year about myself that has helped me grow not only as an artist but as a woman. See for some odd reason I expected to not fail.

Hah! Can you believe that?

I was expecting to be perfect every second of every day. To have the perfect outcome and to have everything come easy to me. Who the heck imprinted that into my skull I will never know…

But as fate would have it, it turns out that life doesn’t always plan out the way you want it to be. And I’ve come to the realization that it’s going to happen whether we like it or not. Some things in life we just have no control (and I can be a little bit of a control freak). But as long as we can concentrate on the little things, the things that we can control, then there will always be something amazing coming along your way to make your life full and amazing.

Soooooo I promise to you that I will be here and not go MIA. I know it sounds crazy because I have been distant with me writing and my images but this is one of the things that I am working on: confidence. Confident that you want to see my work and that you are here with me creating an awesome life using color and imagination.

So what is on your list for the new year? What do you plan on completing and/or work on? It would be awesome if you share over onto the blog!

With mucho love,
